makes 2, 12 oz servings

24 ounces of boiling water
quart mason jar
2 heaping tablespoons of organic shade grown coffee
2 tablespoons organic coconut oil
1 teaspoon organic grass fed ghee
1 teaspoon organic coconut butter

While the water is getting hot, melt coconut oil, ghee and coconut butter by placing the jar in a pan with 1 inch of simmering water.  Using a hand pour system make the coffee into the jar you melted the oils into. Using a hand mixer, blend the coffee in the jar until creamy. The more you blend the more froth you can make. Serve & Enjoy!

Creamer Replacement

-coconut oil is the base
-ghee adds sweet
-coconut butter makes the creamy creamy
The amounts above are just a suggestion. Add more oil for more creaminess or less depending on your personal taste. Experiment to find your perfect cup:)

Flavor suggestions

-Cardamom. Finely grind the cardamom pods then fill with coffee beans and grind together until fine. Store in a tightly sealed glass jar.
-Raw Organic Cacao. Add to the final stage right before blending.
-Ceylon Cinnamon. Add to the final stage right before blending.

~ Use your imagination. Add orange zest, more chocolate, less coffee, more cinnamon or cardamom. Add cloves, nutmeg… Let your imagination go wild.
~ Coffee Alternative. For those who don’t drink coffee, don’t despair!! Coffee replacement is made of water-soluble extracts of roasted roots of dandelion, chicory and beets, and the grains of barley and rye. (most health food stores carry this, also look in the spice & tea section.) Use 1 teaspoon per cup. When using just add the water and coffee replacement to the melted oil. Mix & Enjoy!

Cinnamon provides relief for  headaches, stabilizes blood sugar, lowers blood sugar in people with diabetes, reduces inflammation, is an antioxidant, fights bacteria and arthritis pain. It’s been proven effective for menstrual pain and infertility, studies show cinnamon increases the hormone progesterone and decreases testosterone production in women, helping to balance hormones. “Cinnamon now has medical proof that it boosts memory and holds promise for various neurodegenerative diseases including: Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, brain tumors, and meningitis” according to research at the Cytokine Research Laboratory, Department of Experimental Therapeutics, @ The University of Texas.
